If your browser or firewall has disabled JavaScript, then our website will not work properly. You can probably attain prices but will not be able to complete a purchase or you may eventually run into a “404 Error.”

More About Our Booklet Printing

Undoubtedly, PrintKEG prints some seriously nice booklets and newsletters. Each booklet is full bleed, saddle-stiched (fancy term for stapled) and full color making them great for almost any book type including comic books, calendars, event guides, and playbills. Our customers receive a super high-quality item for unbelievably low prices.

We’ve explained our options to a degree, but clearly it’s time to explain each of the booklet/newsletter options in more detail.

Size - Currently, we offer three extremely popular sizes (Half Size, Full Size and CD Book). Half-sized booklets measure 5.5″ X 8.5″ once finished, or folded, and they’re great for almost any occasion (guides, graphic novels, playbills) while literally costing half the normal price. Our full sized books measure 8.5″ X 11″ after folding and are perfect for newsletters and magazines. Our square CD books measure 4.75″ X 4.75″ once folded and are utilized as…CD booklets. As of late, square print sizes have risen greatly in popularity so we’ve printed some interesting concepts that are not-so-CD-bookish.

Pages - This seems to be confusing for some. Basically, a booklet has to be at least four pages (one sheet folded becomes four pages) which means all booklet page counts must be in multiples of four. This is why we offer options that read like “8 pages / 2 sheets.” This accommodates people thinking in terms of sheets and those counting pages in the document. The cover is “page 1.”

Paper - Now it’s time to select the paper type. There’s a chance to select a thicker cover later if desired. Each paper we offer is specifically engineered for booklet purposes. Customers are simply choosing whether the booklet is to be glossy, uncoated or utilize a 100% recycled paper. Glossy is our most ordered paper; therefore it is the cheapest in price yet not quality. Our uncoated paper is similar to a matte paper product, and 100% recycled is “greener.” All three papers make wonderful inner pages to any booklet, magazine or newsletter.

# of Books - It’s nice to be able to order two books or six hundred and not be gouged in price. Our website allows order quantities up to fifteen hundred booklets. Customers needing higher quantities are asked to speak with a PrintKEG representative since some orders may be outside the scope of “short run printing” which is what we focus on. We’ve printed many booklet order over fifteen hundred, but we like to attain more information before accepting the work.

Upgrade Cover? At this time, customers are given an opportunity to make the cover a little thicker. There are only two options: Glossy and uncoated. We recommend choosing a glossy cover if the inner pages are going to be glossy. We’ve been searching for a 100% recycled cover, but have not been successful in locating one we’re comfortable with.

Proof? - In each case, we prefer customers to receive a physical proof before moving forward with printing final order. This ensures the booklet appears as intended, and allows for a final opportunity to locate unnoticed errors. Proof can be mailed via standard or next day but all proofs will have a transit time of no longer than three days. If UPS Ground would take more than three days to reach destination, we upgrade the shipping at no extra cost.

Despite offering a “no proof” option, we cannot guarantee top-quality booklets for customers selecting the “no proof” type. We only offer
“no proof” since some customers are under a serious time crunch.

Setup. Customers must choose the size of the book to configure a setup fee. We intend to automate this step in the future. In most cases, our designers must actually adjust art to ensure prints are properly tailored to our processes. We search for obvious mistakes and we initiate a thorough and investigative quality assurance process that goes beyond what is required by other print products such as flyers and postcards.

Multiple Files Option

For large poster printing, you can print as many designs as you like. In fact, you can choose 20 posters and send in 20 designs allowing you to take advantage of the quantity discounts. However, there is a small fee for using “multiple files.”

In the “Multiple Files” option, you simply select the range of different designs you are sending in. There is a small setup fee associated with sending in multiple files. For instance, if you send in 20 designs, then you would select the range “11-20.”

At the end of your order, there will only be one upload button available, but you can upload all of your files one at a time. PrintKEG will receive them. We look forward to working with you!

Ship Date Changes

What can change my ship date?

The ship date is an estimation based on our turnaround policy. Use it to help you better plan when to submit an order. PrintKEG strives to deliver prints on time, but all customers should be aware of a few factors that could alter your ship date.

1. Requesting a digital proof can delay your order one day.

2. Not approving proofs in a timely manner.

3. Artwork issues, not sending in artwork in a timely manner, and/or changes to artwork after order is submitted.

4. Changing quantities, size, paper type of an order after submission.

5. Billing Issues (This is most common delay issue, so please be sure all billing information is correct)

6. Finishing options (such as folding) and custom cuts

7. Occasionally our machines need maintenance to ensure quality. Unfortunately, this can sometime delay orders.

8. Custom Design - In cases where custom design is required, your order could be delayed based on design time and approval. Custom design is now offered for each product.

9. Holiday Hours - We take a few days off each year - learn more.

10. Supply shortages - It happens. In times of large influx of orders, we sometimes run too low on paper, toner and ink. We hate it when this happens and try to get orders out promptly.

PrintKEG is not responsible for delays outside of our immediate control, including delays related to order processing or unexpected increase in demand. However, we are dedicated to superior customer service and will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Holiday Hours

There are certain days we don’t work. One of our PrintKEG core value is to promote a fun and healthy work environment, and we feel these particular days are important for us to take a break.

1. Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.
2. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
3. New Years Eve and New Years Day.
4. Memorial Day
5. Labor Day
6. July 4th

We hope this does not cause our customers any serious inconvenience.

WELCOME TO PRINTKEG.COM, INC. (”PrintKEG”). PrintKEG PROVIDES ITS WEBSITE AND RELATED SERVICES (”SITE”) TO YOU SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING USER AGREEMENT (”AGREEMENT”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT ACCESS OR OTHERWISE USE THIS SITE OR ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THIS SITE. User Account, Password, and Security

You will create a password and user account upon completing the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify PrintKEG of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. PrintKEG cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.

User Conduct
In using this Site, you agree to not:

1. upload, download, post, email or otherwise transmit any materials including but not limited to text, data, photos, graphics, stitch files, or any of these elements in combination as a design for products available on this Site or otherwise (”Content”) that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, vulgar, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, profane, indecent, inflammatory, libelous, tortious, hateful, racially, ethnically, socially, politically, legally, morally, religiously objectionable or otherwise objectionable, or invasive of another’s rights including but not limited to rights of celebrity, privacy and intellectual property.

2. impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;

3. upload, download, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that may infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party. As a guideline, you may contribute only original work that you have created yourself from original elements. This means you can’t use images of celebrities or corporate products, nor images, text, or design that you’ve copied from a website without written permission from the owner. You cannot create a “new” image using elements from images other people have created. And you cannot contribute a quote or a slogan that is substantially the same as something already written by someone else. By uploading any Content, you represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to reproduce and distribute such Content and that the Content complies with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances;

4. upload, download, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise create liability or violate any local, state, national, or international law;

5. upload, download, post, email or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of solicitation;

6. upload, download, post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;

7. upload, download, post, email or otherwise transmit false or misleading information;

8. disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise abuse, the Site, or any services, system resources, accounts, servers, or networks connected to or accessible through the Site or affiliated or linked websites.

9. access, tamper with or use non-public areas of the Site. Unauthorized individuals attempting to access these areas of the Site may be subject to prosecution;

10. disrupt or interfere with any other user’s enjoyment of the Site or affiliated or linked websites;

11. incorporate images or names that would violate a person’s right of privacy or publicity; or

You acknowledge that PrintKEG does not pre-screen submitted Content, but that PrintKEG and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to reject artwork. Upon placing your order, you acknowledge that PrintKEG may review your order, and the Content it contains, for adherence to our guidelines and compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. Without limiting the foregoing, PrintKEG and its designees shall have the right to not print content that violates the Agreement or is otherwise objectionable to PrintKEG.

You acknowledge and agree that PrintKEG may preserve Content and may also disclose Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process; (ii) enforce this Agreement; (iii) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third-parties; or (iv) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of PrintKEG, its users and the public.

You agree that you are responsible for actions and communications undertaken under your account. PrintKEG takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any Content uploaded or otherwise transmitted by or to you or by or to any third-party, or for any mistakes, defamation, slander, libel, omissions, falsehoods, infringement, obscenity, pornography or profanity you or a third party may encounter. You agree to waive any claims against PrintKEG and its affiliates, contractors, agents and employees for losses, damages and injuries which are based on or relate to communications, Content or materials on the Site. You agree to indemnify PrintKEG and its affiliates from all claims and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, which claims are based on or arise from your violation of any of the provisions of this Agreement.

You agree that you will use this Site and any products ordered on this Site in accordance with all applicable United States federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations and ordinances and will not take any action that harms or violates the rights of any person or entity.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to PrintKEG. Users of this Site should refer to our privacy policy for information about how PrintKEG collects and uses personal information. By accepting this Agreement you expressly consent to PrintKEG’s disclosure and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Proprietary Rights

You acknowledge and agree that any Content, including but not limited to text, data, photos, graphics, etc. or other material contained or distributed on or through the Site, by PrintKEG, its advertisers or other third parties, is protected by trademarks, service marks, patents, copyrights, or other proprietary rights and laws. You may not use or distribute any Content received through the Site without the authorization of the Content owner. You agree not to publish, reproduce, copy, in whole or in part, nor upload, download, post, email, sell, or otherwise distribute Content available through the Site, in violation of applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The intellectual property rights in or relating to the content of any notes, messages, e-mails, postings, letters, ideas, suggestions, concepts or other written materials which you submit or communicate to PrintKEG (excluding your Content you submit) will automatically be deemed to be assigned, granted and transferred by you to PrintKEG upon their submission or communication to PrintKEG, and you do assign all rights therein to PrintKEG and agree that the same will automatically become the property of PrintKEG and that PrintKEG may use, exploit, copy, publish, implement, transfer and in all other ways deal with such materials and all of the intellectual property rights therein in any way and for any purpose PrintKEG may elect, forever.

Intellectual Property Policy

PrintKEG respects the intellectual property rights of others. We ask our users to do the same. PrintKEG may terminate the accounts of users who appear to infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others.

If you believe that your Content has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright and/or trademark infringement, please notify PrintKEG’s Copyright Agent, and provide the following information (”Notice”):

1. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright/trademark interest;
2. a description of the copyrighted work and/or trademark claimed to have been infringed;
3. a description of where the claimed infringing Content is located on our Site;
4. your address, telephone number, and email address
5. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright/trademark owner, its agent, or the law;
6. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright/trademark interest involved.

WARRANTY

YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE THE OWNER OF THE CONTENT WHICH YOU SUBMIT AND THAT THE CONTENT DOES NOT INFRINGE UPON THE PROPERTY RIGHTS, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS) OR OTHER RIGHTS OF OTHERS. YOU ALSO REPRESENT THAT THERE ARE NO OUTSTANDING DISPUTES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPERTY RIGHTS, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OR OTHER RIGHTS IN THE CONTENT OR ANY PARTS OF THE CONTENT. YOU HEREBY REPRESENT AND WARRANT TO US THAT THIS AGREEMENT HAS BEEN DULY AND VALIDLY EXECUTED AND DELIVERED BY YOU AND CONSTITUTES YOUR LEGAL, VALID AND BINDING OBLIGATION, ENFORCEABLE AGAINST YOU IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS TERMS; AND THAT THE EXECUTION, DELIVERY AND PERFORMANCE BY YOU OF THIS AGREEMENT ARE WITHIN YOUR LEGAL CAPACITY AND POWER; HAVE BEEN DULY AUTHORIZED BY ALL REQUISITE ACTION ON YOUR PART; REQUIRE THE APPROVAL OR CONSENT OF NO OTHER PERSONS; AND NEITHER VIOLATE NOR CONSTITUTE A DEFAULT UNDER THE (I) PROVISION OF ANY LAW, RULE, REGULATION, ORDER, JUDGMENT OR DECREE TO WHICH YOU ARE SUBJECT OR WHICH IS BINDING UPON YOU, OR (II) THE TERMS OF ANY OTHER AGREEMENT, DOCUMENT OR INSTRUMENT APPLICABLE TO YOU OR BINDING UPON YOU.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold PrintKEG and PrintKEG’s officers, directors, employees, agents and licensors harmless from all judgments, awards, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees, expert witness fees, and costs of litigation arising out of or based on (a) Content you submit, post to or transmit through the Site, (b) your use of the Site, (c) your connection to the Site, (d) your violation of the Agreement or (e) your violation of any rights of a third party.

No Resale

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Site, use of the Site or access to the Site without PrintKEG ’s express written consent.

Termination

You agree that PrintKEG, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password, account (or any part thereof) or use of the Site, and remove and discard any Content you may have contributed to the Site, at any time for any reason or no reason. PrintKEG may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Site, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Site under any provision of this Agreement may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that PrintKEG may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files of the Site. Further, you agree that PrintKEG shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the Site. Should you object to any terms and conditions of the Agreement or become dissatisfied with the Site in any way, your only recourse is to immediately discontinue your use of the Site and/or terminate your account.

Because PrintKEG has no control of such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that PrintKEG is not responsible for the availability of such sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites or resources or the policies or such sites and resources. PrintKEG is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource.

Public Reputation

You acknowledge and agree that you will not use any artwork printed by PrintKEG in a way that would be damaging to PrintKEG’s public reputation or that of its employees, board members, or shareholders.

Pricing, Shipping, and Terms of Sale

Prices for products are described on the Site and are incorporated into this Agreement by reference. All prices are in US dollars. Prices and products may change at PrintKEG’s discretion. Title and risk of loss for all products ordered by you shall pass to you on PrintKEG’s shipment to the shipping carrier. Purchases are subject to PrintKEG’s Return Policy. PrintKEG reserves the right to cancel any order for any product that may violate the intellectual property rights of a third party and will notify the purchaser that the order has been canceled.

Age and Geographic Restrictions

You must be at least 17 years of age to use this Site. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions about this restriction.

Correction of Errors and Inaccuracies

The information and product listings on this Site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to product description, pricing and availability. We also reserve the right to limit or restrict quantities of products (including after you have submitted your order) for any reason, including, without limitation, if the product violates any terms of this Agreement.

PrintKEG DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTY THAT (A) THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR (B) THAT THE SITE OR SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE, OR (C) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, OR (D) THAT DEFECTS, IF ANY, WILL BE CORRECTED. If any provision of this Agreement is invalid, illegal or unenforceable under any applicable statute or rule of law, such provision shall be deemed amended to achieve as nearly as possible the same economic effect as the original provision and the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall in no way be affected or impaired.

GENERAL

These terms and conditions and your relationship with PrintKEG shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of South Carolina, without resort to its conflict of law provisions. You and PrintKEG agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the county of Beaufort, South Carolina. No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship is intended or created by this Agreement. PrintKEG may assign its rights and responsibilities hereunder without notice to you. The failure of a party to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of the right or provision. PrintKEG’s failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive PrintKEG’s right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and PrintKEG, and supercedes all other communications, written or oral, with regard to the Site and services provided by PrintKEG.

Drop Shipping

What is blind shipping and why offer it?

PrintKEG offers blind shipping to better serve resellers, print brokers and other print companies.  Basically, we eliminate extra effort for our customers by shipping prints directly to their customers and removing all PrintKEG branding from packaging.

How do I blind ship?

When selecting a shipping method, you are able to check “Need Blind Shipping?” It will cost an additional $4.

Have your own UPS account?

You can choose “bill my UPS account” in order to bypass our shipping fee. This service costs $4 from PrintKEG and UPS will bill your UPS account for all shipping fees. While making your order on PrintKEG, you will be asked to input your UPS account number.

If you would like us to “blind ship” your order, be sure to check the box next to “Need Blind Shipping?”

What about drop shipping?

Anyone can “drop ship” since they can choose any shipping address while ordering. Drop shipping is not the same as blind shipping with PrintKEG.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

1. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts your information.

2. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and PrintKEG account. Be sure to sign off when finished using our website.

Information You Give Us

You provide most of your information when you buy or open an account with PrintKEG.  We also attain information such as browser types, referring sites, etc. This extra information allows us to better serve customers and is only intended for that purpose.

We do not share any of your personal information with any 3rd party company outside of IDM Firm LLC (which owns PrintKEG.com) except for merchant processors (to accept your credit card payment).

Featured Prices

The statements on our homepage and some of our advertising that read “as low as…” represent our prices at the highest quantities for that specific product.

For instance, there is a line in the flyers box located on our home page that reads “as low as .05 each.” This statement is true if you choose 2000 5.5″ X 8.5″ one-sided color flyers. The same principal applies to all products located on the homepage. We are not intending to be misleading in any way and do not want to confuse anyone. PrintKEG is just excited about how cheap our prices are.

We consistently check the other major online printers ensuring that our products are cheaper at the quantities which we provide.  However, it is impossible to know what every online printer sets prices as.

Return / Refund Policies

As part of The PrintKEG Promise, PrintKEG offers a 100% guarantee on all of our printing products. Please use the following policies to determine how we handle specific circumstances.

1. Quality of prints

If you are not satisfied with the quality of your prints, we will reprint and reship your order at no cost to you. If you are still unsatisfied, we will refund your money. It’s that simple. We only ask that you send in a picture of the prints to contact@printkeg.com.

2. Damaged shipment

If your prints were damaged due to shipping, we will resend the prints to you immediately. We only ask that you email contact@printkeg.com a picture of the damaged package. This is required by UPS at the time we file a claim with them.

We also ask that you inform us of damages within 5 business days of receiving your prints.

3. Delayed / Late orders

Sometimes, we run into unforeseen delays that may be very inconvenient for you. We try to help customers working with deadlines, but we do not issue refunds for items received or shipped past the estimated ship dates. If your order is delayed, you will be notified by email and have the option to cancel before printing/shipping occurs.

Refunds

In cases of refunds or cancellations, it may take up to 3 business days for a credit to be issued.
