More Comic Printing
Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 Blog, Printing News by Mr. KegWe recently finished printing a new comic book for Todd Tochiaka in Santa Monica, California, called project-17. We are extremely proud of the way these booklets turned out. If you are interested in ordering a book from Todd, visit his website. If you need a printer for your comic books, give us a chance to knock your socks off.
Check out another example of comic book printing we’ve printed (also by Todd) called Pink Power.

“PrintKeg services have been amazingly convenient! The turn-around time and quality is top-notch- plus, I know I can depend on the staff to reach out to communicate any issues or questions they have immediately, so no production time is wasted. I have priced out other vendors for the comic books and printed products Justus Arts produces and distributes, but no one comes close to the price, quality (much higher quality paper stock and printing than most comic book products out there!) and turn-around time that PrintKeg can offer. Plus, the option of lower numbered runs at great prices is perfect for promotional and prototype products!
I could never afford to operate such a DIY operation if it weren’t for Chris Mullen and the talented PrintKeg Staff!!!

Posters for Microsoft
Friday, October 15th, 2010 Blog, Printing News by Mr. KegAs a little business, we thought it was pretty cool printing a small 18 X 24 poster order for Microsoft Corporation.
Although, I’m mostly an Apple guy now (my work computer uses Windows though), I am looking forward to seeing their new Windows 7 Phone and watching how Bing’s new relation with Facebook will play out. Microsoft could make a comeback yet!
Besides, I don’t see Facebook, Apple or Google ordering posters from PrintKEG…Bah!

5.5 X 8.5 has always been available on our cheap flyers page, but some people were asking for the postcard paper so we made it happen! Take a look on our cheap postcard printing page.

Improved Newsletter Options
Saturday, August 14th, 2010 Blog, Printing News by Mr. KegLet’s face it - our newsletter page used to be ridiculously confusing so we simplified the ordering process while also adding new options. What’s new?
UPDATE: We now offer more details concerning the different options for booklet printing.
Pages explained
Basically, your newsletter has to include pages in multiples of 4. Four pages is actually one sheet folded in half, Eight pages is two pages half folded and stapled together and so on. All you have to worry about is how many pages your newsletter is. Don’t worry, next to the number of pages, we still show the number of sheets to keep things less confusing.
Cover Option
Now, you can upgrade your cover page to a card stock (gloss or uncoated).
Recycled Paper
We added 100% recycled paper as a paper option for newsletters. We also offer recycled paper for flyers.
Design Options
All newsletter orders are charged a setup fee of $5 or more. This fee covers the time it takes our artists to properly set your file up to print.
