Proofing
PrintKEG provides a few proofing options to facilitate quality and timeliness. We are dedicated to outstanding and personal proofing techniques for all of our cheap printing products.
No Proof (+$0)
If your art is the correct size and and you are totally ready, you may not require a proof. This option is great for orders that really need to be rushed. Don’t worry. we still briefly review all files for quality purposes. If we see obvious problems, we will still send you a proof ensuring your prints look right!
Digital Proof (+$0)
We will email you a digital proof before we print within 2-4 business hours of your order. In many cases, this will not delay us from printing and shipping your prints on time unless you do not approve in a timely manner. A digital proof is helpful in visually determining your print especially in cases involving bleed and trim areas.
Digital proofs are not available for large posters (16 X 20 to 36 X 48). If we see problems, you will be contacted. Learn more.
Check & Fix (+$15)
If you think there are some obvious margin/resize issues with your artwork and need the prints right away, you may want us to just go ahead and fix any problems we see to speed up the process. You will still receive a digital proof.
Standard & Next Day Mail Proof (+$20 or +$50)
Sometimes its nice to see a physical proof beforehand. Before printing your order, we will send you an actual proof for you to approve which only adds one or two days until we actually print and ship the real product. Standard proofs are sent UPS Ground and Next Day proofs are sent UPS Next Day Air.
In Store Proof (+10)
For local customers who wish to swing by and see a physical proof before production.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. A PDF proof is a “soft proof”. It is intended to show you the size, text, and placement of your file. Because of the variances of monitor settings and differences in equipment, it is not necessarily an exact representation of color. If your job is color critical, we suggest that you request a “1 Day Mail Proof” so you can actually see the product.
2. Please check your email (PrintKEG ID) often. You may be sent a proof to be authorized. If proof is not approved promptly, your order will most likely be delayed.
