General FAQ
What does full bleed mean?
Full bleed means the artwork will extend edge to edge of the paper. Your artwork should provide us with a 1/8″ trim area. The art “preparing files” page also provides templates for you to paste your artwork into.
Do I include crop marks?
There is no need to include crop marks on your artwork.
What type of paper does PrintKEG™ offer?
Currently, all flyers, brochures and small posters are printed on glossy or matte paper. The gloss is less shiny than a UV coating but shines a professional look that showcases beautiful and vibrant color. Matte papers are less shiny and smoother.
1. Text - much nicer than the paper you buy at home and the standard papers offered by most print stores. Generally, you would pay more for this type of paper. We felt that quality of color will go far with this paper stock. Mostly used for flyers, brochures and thin posters.
2. Card - This is a much heavier paper stock that is used for many posters, cards, menus and anything else you might need a heavy paper for. 80# is used for small posters and 100# is used for postcards, rack cards and business cards.
3. 100% Recycled - We now offer a 100% Recycled uncoated text stock for flyers only. Awesome!
4. Glossy Photo Paper - We use a satin glossy photo paper for our large format posters (16 X 20 and higher) to ensure that our large posters are not only the cheapest, but the best quality. Great for large format photography.

When do I upload my art file?
Uploading artwork takes place at the end of your order. Once your order is complete, a file upload link will be available to you on the confirmation page.
My art file is large so I cannot upload or email it - any suggestions?
Two services that would allow you to send us files would be YouSendIt.com, DropBox.com, and MegaUpload.com . Both services are free. We will be more than happy to download your files at no extra cost!
How do you pack the prints?
We are very careful when packing our prints for shipping. Our printing prices may be cheap, but they are high quality so we protect them. We use sturdy boxes, cardboard, shrink wrapping, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts to ensure your prints are delivered crisp and unbent. Prints 13″ X 19″ and under are not rolled.
Does PrintKEG™ offer samples?
We do offer samples because the prices on our cheap prints may be hard to believe. We know you might want to see the paper and color quality before you commit. Click here to request a sample.
How do I get an invoice?
We offer a printable invoice of each of your orders in the PrintKEG client control panel. Simply log in to your account and click on the “Pending Orders” or “Past Orders” tab and click on the appropriate printer icon.
We do not send invoices inside of your shipment.
