Both of our panoramic paper options are professional-grade giclée stocks with archival ratings exceeding 200 years under proper display conditions. The right choice depends on the image content and where the print will live.

Premium Satin Gloss (Giclée). A satin-gloss photo paper that enhances contrast, color vibrancy, and depth without the heavy reflections of a true high-gloss finish. Excellent for panoramic photography, colorful artwork, and gallery-style prints where saturation and dimensional richness drive the image. The satin sheen brings out subtle tonal range in landscapes and skies particularly well.

Premium Photo Matte (Giclée). An FSC-certified matte paper with an elegant surface texture, even ink coverage, and photorealistic image quality. The non-reflective surface lets the print read consistently from any angle, which makes matte the right choice for fine art reproductions, exhibition pieces, and any environment with strong ambient lighting where glare would otherwise distract from the work.

If you're not sure which finish suits your image, we recommend ordering paper samples first. The difference between satin gloss and matte is significant in person and difficult to evaluate from a screen.

File Preparation Tips for Panoramic Prints

Wide-format prints expose file weaknesses that smaller sizes can hide. A few specs worth checking before you upload:

• Resolution. Aim for 300 DPI at final print size. A 12×36 print at 300 DPI requires a file of at least 3,600 × 10,800 pixels. Stitched panoramas often clear this easily; cropped or upscaled images may not.
• Aspect ratio match. If your image isn't already at the panoramic ratio you're ordering, plan ahead for what will be cropped. Sending a non-panoramic image to a panoramic press will result in either letterboxing or cropping that you may not want.
• Color mode. Convert to CMYK before uploading and review color shifts — deep blues, vivid greens, and bright oranges shift the most between RGB screen and CMYK print.
• Bleed. Add 0.125" of bleed on all sides if you want edge-to-edge color. Without bleed, you may see thin white edges after trimming.
• Stitching artifacts. If your panorama was stitched in software, zoom in to check for misalignment, ghosting, or seam visibility before exporting. These artifacts become much more visible at large print sizes.
