Image Resolution Enhancement
Low-resolution artwork may appear blurry, pixelated, or soft when enlarged for printing. When appropriate, we use professional AI-assisted image enhancement software, including Topaz Photo AI, to improve resolution and prepare the artwork for a larger print size.
Image enhancement can often produce a meaningful improvement, but it cannot perfectly recreate details that were never present in the original file. The quality of the finished result will depend on the original artwork, the requested print size, and the type of image being enlarged.
Artwork Resizing and Print Dimensions
Changing an artwork file from one size to another is not always a simple enlargement. Different print sizes may have different proportions, which can require cropping, extending the background, or adding margins.
We will resize your artwork to the requested dimensions and use professional judgment to preserve the important parts of the image whenever possible.
RGB to CMYK Conversion
Computer screens typically display artwork in RGB color, while most professional printing equipment uses CMYK inks or toners. When CMYK preparation is appropriate, we will convert the artwork and review the resulting color appearance.
Some bright RGB colors cannot be reproduced exactly in CMYK. We aim to create a practical print-ready conversion while minimizing unnecessary color shifts.
