Printkeg's 4x6 postcards are the most popular size we print, and for good reason. The classic postcard proportions are hand-sized, easy to distribute, inexpensive to mail at USPS postcard rates, and large enough to showcase real artwork without feeling oversized. We print them full-color and full-bleed on three archival, opaque cardstocks built to hold detail, color, and texture from the first piece to the last.

Textured Felt Cardstock (100# Cover)

Our premium specialty stock with a tactile felt finish that adds real texture and authenticity to fine art reproductions. The textured surface gives prints a gallery-grade quality that elevates artwork beyond what flat coated stocks can deliver. Especially well-suited for watercolor, pastel, mixed media, and illustration work where the paper itself becomes part of the artistic experience.

Do you offer custom sizes?

Yes. Our standard size is 4" x 6", but we also produce custom cuts such as 4x4 and 4x5 for specialized campaigns, creative projects, and packaging inserts. Reach out if you need a non-standard size and we'll let you know what's possible.

What cardstocks are available?

Three archival options: Gloss (110# cover) for vibrant, saturated color; Matte (100# cover) for a soft, uncoated finish that's also writable; and Textured Felt (100# cover) for fine art reproductions that benefit from a tactile surface.

Are postcards printed full-color and full-bleed?

Yes. Every 4x6 postcard is printed in full color, edge-to-edge, with no white borders unless your design specifies them. Both sides can be printed at no additional charge.

Do you offer proofs before printing?

Our team automatically reviews every file for minor issues like resolution, bleed, and color mode. If you'd like a digital PDF proof for color, layout, or bleed verification before we go to press, you can request one for a small fee at checkout.

What is the turnaround time?

Short-run orders typically ship in 1–2 business days after proof approval. Larger quantities and orders with custom cuts may require additional production time, which we'll communicate during checkout.

Can I mail 4x6 postcards at USPS postcard rates?

Yes. The 4x6 size falls within USPS postcard dimensions, so they qualify for postcard mail rates rather than first-class letter rates. Make sure your design leaves a clear address area on the back if you're planning to mail them.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. While our short-run pricing is competitive for orders as small as 25 pieces, we also offer bulk quantities from 2,500 to 10,000 units at discounted pricing for direct mail campaigns, retail giveaways, and resale.
