Promotional products consist of numerous custom-printed materials not produced in our main facilities. The best trade printers in the world provide these outsourced products and are a welcome addition to Printkeg's overall lineup. Turnaround times might be slightly longer than the rest of our products, but the final products will be well worth the wait!

Art Specs for Promotional Products and SIgns

The art specifications for each customized item in our promotional products category differ significantly. However, if you follow these three basic principles, our designers can work out most challenges. In the end, we try to take as much legwork from you as possible.

1. Resolution - 300dpi is the optimal resolution for every promotional product and signage. If the image quality is correct, everything may fall in line. We also accept vector graphics.
2. Color - We print all promotional products in CMYK color mode.
3. Bleed - Each promotional product does require varying levels of this trim area. Generally, if you keep essential components at least .25" away from the edges, we can usually make it work.

Do you offer custom signs not available on the website?

We sure do! Please contact us if your signage project requires custom dimensions or a different material. We offer almost any size print on acrylic, aluminum, coroplast, fabric, film, plastic, PVC, window clings, and vinyl. 

What software do you recommend for quality purposes?

We prefer files from Adobe formats (such as PDF). If you're using a program outside Adobe, please export your work as one of these file types: PDF, JPG, or TIF.

What is raster and vector?

Raster-based art such as photos or flattened digital artwork (like images from Adobe Photoshop) derive from tiny squares (pixels). All raster elements you wish to use should have a high enough resolution (DPI) before considering them for any large format product, including signs.

Vector-based artwork such as clip-art style elements (from Adobe Illustrator) derives from mathematical calculations. Vectors are sometimes needed for very large signage. You can scale these graphics to any size without losing quality.

Once you find what you need for your project, add your items to the cart, just like almost any other shopping site on the planet. During this step, you upload your art file, choose a shipping method, and make payment.
2. At this point, our team receives your order. One of our professionals carefully inspects your artwork file and prepares it for printing. If that designated specialist discovers any problems she cannot quickly resolve, she will contact you by email.
3. As your order transfers to a third-party production center, we will send you updates as the order progresses. The first notification provides the estimated ship date, and follow-up emails continue until we receive shipping information. Communication is essential to the experience.
4. Almost all promotional items and signage will ship with UPS. Once your order is delivered, you can move forward with your project!
