Every Sticker Format We Offer

Seven distinct sticker types — each engineered for a different use case, adhesive type, material, and cutting method. Here's how to choose.

Die-Cut Stickers

Cut precisely to your artwork shape  |  No white border  |  Single sticker per backing

The cutter follows the exact outline of your artwork — a cat sticker shaped like a cat, a logo sticker shaped like your logo. No rectangular border, no white space between the design and the edge. Die-cut stickers look finished and intentional in a way that standard-shape stickers don't. The premium format for merch, resale, convention tables, and any sticker you're proud enough to put your name on.

Best for: Artist merch, character and fan art stickers, logo stickers, branded giveaways, and any design where the shape is part of the visual identity.

Kiss-Cut Sticker Sheets

Multiple designs on one sheet  |  Easy-peel backing stays intact  |  Sticker sets

Kiss-cutting cuts through the sticker face and adhesive without cutting the backing sheet — so the entire sheet arrives as one piece, with individual stickers that peel off cleanly. Group multiple designs on a single sheet to create a sticker set, a character collection, or a mixed assortment. The backing sheet itself can be printed as part of the design. An excellent format for packaging inserts and sticker packs sold as a product.

Best for: Sticker sets, mixed character collections, packaging inserts, merchandise bundles, and any application where grouping multiple designs together adds value.

Circle, Square & Rectangle Stickers

Standard geometric shapes  |  Most affordable per unit  |  Fastest production

Clean, classic shapes in consistent sizes. No custom cut path required — which keeps per-unit cost lower and production faster than die-cut options. Circle stickers are the most versatile: equally at home as a product label, a logo sticker, a seal on a package, or a promotional giveaway. Square and rectangle stickers work well for any design with a natural horizontal or vertical layout.

Best for: Product labels, logo stickers, event promotions, high-volume giveaways, envelope seals, and any application where the shape doesn't need to follow the artwork outline.

Sticker Label Rolls

Roll format for dispensers & applicators  |  Permanent adhesive  |  Packaging applications

Full-color labels on a continuous roll — the format used by product-based businesses that apply labels in volume using a dispenser or automated applicator. Roll labels maintain consistent registration and peel cleanly from the backing without the individual backing waste of sheet-format stickers. Permanent adhesive bonds firmly to glass, plastic, paper, and most packaging surfaces.

Best for: Product packaging, food and beverage labels, cosmetics and skincare, candle labels, subscription box inserts, and any product-based business applying labels at volume.

Bumper Stickers

Outdoor-rated vinyl  |  UV and weather resistant  |  Long-term adhesion

Outdoor-rated vinyl engineered specifically for vehicle and exterior surface use — UV-resistant inks and adhesive that hold through car washes, rain, and direct sun without peeling, fading, or leaving residue. The long horizontal format carries a slogan, logo, or campaign message in a form that travels wherever the vehicle goes. An extremely cost-effective mobile marketing format for the right message.

Best for: Brand campaigns, political messaging, cause advocacy, band and artist promotion, event marketing, and any message that benefits from vehicle-based visibility.

Metallic Stickers

Gold or silver metallic base  |  Premium finish  |  Limited edition appeal

Printed on a metallic base stock — gold or silver — that gives every color a reflective, luminous quality. Designs catch light differently depending on viewing angle, producing a visual dynamism that standard vinyl stickers can't replicate. Metallic stickers are immediately perceived as more premium than standard stickers, which makes them the right choice for limited editions, exclusive merchandise, and any sticker you want buyers to treat as collectible rather than disposable.

Best for: Limited edition merch, exclusive convention variants, premium brand swag, designs with gold or silver elements, and any sticker meant to feel like a collectors item.

Removable Wall Decals

Large-format  |  Removable adhesive  |  Smooth interior surfaces

Large-format graphics on removable adhesive vinyl — designed to apply to painted walls, glass, and smooth interior surfaces and remove cleanly without damaging the surface beneath. Wall decals transform a room, a retail environment, or an event space without the permanence of paint or wallpaper. Applied in minutes, removed without residue. Available in custom sizes up to large-format dimensions.

Best for: Retail store environments, office branding, pop-up events, home décor, exhibition displays, and any interior space that needs a large graphic without permanent installation.

Die-Cut vs. Kiss-Cut: The Key Distinction

This is the question we get most often. Both involve custom cutting — but the method and end result are different in ways that affect how you use and distribute the sticker.

Die-Cut

Cut all the way through — sticker and backing — following the exact outline of your artwork. Each sticker arrives as an individual piece, ready to apply. No white rectangle, no background border. The sticker is the shape.

  • Stickers are cut to the shape of your artwork
  • Individual stickers, one per backing piece
  • Premium feel — no excess material around the design
  • Best for merch sold individually or handed out one at a time
  • Slightly higher cost than kiss-cut for equivalent quantity

Kiss-Cut

Cut through the sticker face and adhesive only — the backing sheet stays intact. Individual stickers peel off the sheet cleanly, but the entire sheet is one piece. Multiple designs can share a single sheet.

  • Stickers are cut to shape, backing sheet stays whole
  • Multiple stickers can live on one sheet
  • Easier to handle and distribute as a set or bundle
  • Best for sticker packs, merch bundles, and packaging inserts
  • More cost-effective for multiple designs in one order

Who Uses Our Sticker Printing

Artists & Convention Sellers

Die-cut stickers of original characters, fan art, and designs are consistently among the top-selling products at Artist Alley tables — low price point, high-margin, easy to display, and fast to hand over. Kiss-cut sticker sheets let you bundle multiple designs into a single sellable product. Metallic variants command premium pricing and move as "special edition" items. Stickers are a convention and artist alley staple for good reason.

Product-Based Businesses

Roll labels for product packaging — candles, skincare, food and beverage, apparel — in a consistent format that applies cleanly at volume. Circle and rectangle stickers for logo seals, shipping labels, and branded packaging. A well-designed product label sticker is often the first physical touchpoint a customer has with your brand.

Brands & Marketers

Logo stickers and branded die-cuts as swag, trade show giveaways, and order inserts. Bumper stickers for campaigns with a message to spread. Wall decals for retail environments and pop-up brand activations. Stickers are one of the few marketing materials people voluntarily put on their belongings, which makes them a uniquely powerful brand vehicle.

Etsy & Online Sellers

Stickers ship flat in standard envelopes and poly mailers — making them one of the easiest physical products to sell online without complex fulfillment. Die-cut and kiss-cut sheets are popular in sticker shops, stationery stores, and planner communities. Blind shipping available — we ship to your customers without Printkeg branding.

Events & Organizations

Logo stickers and circle seals for events, fundraisers, and community organizations. Bumper stickers for cause-based campaigns. Wall decals for event environments and branded installation spaces. Stickers are affordable at almost any quantity and sell easily in high-traffic event settings.

File Setup for Sticker Printing

Sticker files have a few unique requirements beyond standard print files — particularly around cut lines and bleed. Here's what matters for each format.

Resolution: 300 DPI

300 DPI at your finished sticker dimensions. Stickers are viewed at very close range — held in the hand and applied to a surface. Resolution errors that might pass at larger print sizes are clearly visible on a sticker. For stickers with fine linework, small text, or intricate detail, 600 DPI is recommended.

Color Mode: CMYK

All stickers are printed in CMYK. Design in CMYK for the most accurate color match between screen and printed sticker. Vibrant colors — especially neons and highly saturated tones — can shift in CMYK conversion. Proof a small quantity before a large run if color accuracy on a specific shade is critical.

Bleed: 0.125" Beyond the Cut Line

For die-cut stickers, extend any background color or artwork 0.125" beyond your intended cut line. Without bleed, even minor cutting variation can expose a thin white line along the edge of the sticker. On a shaped die-cut sticker, that white edge is visible against any surface it's applied to.

Cut Line for Die-Cut & Kiss-Cut

For die-cut and kiss-cut stickers, include a cut line in your file — a separate vector path indicating exactly where the cutter should follow. The cut line should be on its own layer, in a spot color named "CutContour" or similar, and set to overprint. Do not include the cut line as a visible design element. If you're unsure how to set this up, upload your artwork, and our team will help.

Safe Zone: 0.0625" Inside the Cut Line

Keep important design elements — text, fine detail, focal points — at least 1/16" inside your cut line. Cutting variation at the edge of a sticker means anything directly on or very close to the cut line may be partially removed. For stickers with text near the edge, increase this safe zone to 0.125".

Roll Label Notes

Roll labels should be submitted with consistent dimensions across all labels in the roll. Specify your roll direction (how the labels unwind) in your order notes if you're using an automatic applicator — applicator compatibility depends on roll direction and can vary by machine. Include the label size and gap between labels in your file setup notes.

Every sticker order is reviewed by a real person before printing or cutting begins — we check resolution, bleed, cut line placement, and color mode. If anything needs adjustment, we will contact you before production. Minor corrections can often be made in-house without delaying your order.

Sticker Printing FAQ

Are your stickers weather-resistant?

Most vinyl sticker formats — die-cut, kiss-cut, circle, square, rectangle, and bumper stickers — are printed on weather-resistant vinyl and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Bumper stickers are specifically outdoor-rated with UV-resistant inks. Metallic stickers and wall decals are designed for indoor use. Roll labels vary by adhesive type — confirm your intended application surface when ordering. Material specifications are listed on each individual product page.

What's the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut?

Die-cut stickers are cut all the way through — sticker and backing — to the exact shape of your artwork. Each arrives as a single sticker. Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the sticker face only, leaving the backing sheet intact, so multiple stickers can live on one sheet and peel off individually. Die-cut is best for individual stickers sold or given out one at a time. Kiss-cut is better for sticker sheets with multiple designs. Read our full comparison here.

Do I need to include a cut line in my file?

For die-cut and kiss-cut stickers, yes — a vector cut line tells our cutter exactly where to follow your artwork shape. The cut line should be on its own layer in a spot color (typically named "CutContour"), set to overprint, and not visible as a design element. If you're not sure how to set this up in your design software, upload your artwork and note in your order instructions that you need help with the cut path. Our team can often prepare it for you.

Can you make adjustments to my artwork before printing?

Minor adjustments — bleed extension, cut line preparation, minor color mode conversion — can often be handled during file review without contacting you. For anything that requires a design decision or changes you'd want to approve, we'll reach out by email before production begins. We'd rather take a few extra minutes to get your approval than produce stickers that don't match your design intent.

Do you offer blind shipping?

Yes. We do not include Printkeg marketing materials, invoices, or branding in shipped packages. Your customers receive their stickers with no indication of where they were printed — keeping your shop's brand experience intact end to end.

What surfaces do wall decals work on?

Wall decals are designed for smooth, clean interior surfaces — painted drywall, glass, smooth tile, and similar substrates. They do not adhere well to textured or matte-painted walls, unfinished surfaces, or outdoor environments. Apply to a clean, dry surface. Remove by peeling slowly at a low angle to avoid paint damage. Removable adhesive is not permanent — wall decals are designed to be removed cleanly, but always test a small area first on freshly painted surfaces (paint that's less than 30 days old may be susceptible to peeling).

What's the minimum quantity I can order?

Low minimums are available across all sticker formats — many products start at quantities as low as 1–25 units. Exact minimums vary by sticker type and size. If you're testing a new design or want a proof before ordering a larger run, small quantities are available without a large upfront commitment. Check the individual product page for minimum quantities on your specific sticker type.
