Most business card products push you toward the biggest box you'll take. This one doesn't. There are real situations where 100 cards is the correct order — and ordering 1,000 instead just means throwing away 900 of them when something changes.

When 100 Cards Is the Right Call

• You're testing a new design. A card that looks perfect on screen can read differently in the hand — type too small, a logo that crowds the edge, a color that shifts in CMYK. A hundred cards is a cheap proof run before you commit to a large quantity.
• Your contact info just changed. New number, new domain, new title. Bridge the gap without scrapping a full box.
• You have one specific event. A single conference, market, or client meeting where you'll realistically hand out a few dozen cards.
• You're launching a side project or second brand. Prove the concept before investing.
• You hand out cards rarely. Plenty of freelancers and consultants give away fewer than 100 cards a year. Cards sitting in a drawer go stale — designs date, area codes change, brands get refreshed.

When to Order More Instead

Being straight with you: at 100 cards for $19.99 you're paying about 20¢ per card. Step up to 250 and that drops to roughly a dime — half the cost per card for five dollars more. You're buying flexibility here, not economy. If any of the following describe you, skip the starter pack.

• You're tabling at conventions, craft fairs, or artist alley — plan on 250–1,000 per event.
• You're working a trade show booth, where a single day can clear 200 cards.
• You tuck a card into every order or package you ship.
• Your team orders per-person — real estate agents, insurance offices, dealership floors, and salons all burn through cards steadily.

Paper & Coating

• 16pt C2S with UV gloss — coated both sides for a high-shine finish that deepens color and resists fingerprints and scuffing. The better choice for photography, logos with strong color, and anything you want to look vivid.
• 16pt C2S with matte coating — a smooth, non-reflective surface with a more understated, tactile feel. Choose matte if you'll ever write on the card, since ink beads and smears on UV gloss.

Both run 16pt — a substantial professional weight, noticeably thicker than the flimsy stock most budget printers ship. Coating is the only real decision here, and it comes down to whether you need to write on the card.

File Setup

• Build your file at 3.75" × 2.25" to allow for trim (3.5" × 2" finished size).
• Keep logos, text, and anything else critical at least 0.25" from every edge.
• Design at 300 DPI or higher — most programs default to screen resolution, which prints soft.
• Use CMYK color mode. RGB files convert on our end and can shift, especially in bright blues and greens.
• Send PDF or JPG (preferred). We also accept PNG, EPS, and TIF.

Production & Turnaround

Print-ready files typically ship within 2–4 business days. Rounded corners add production time. Cards ship in a durable business card box, and may ship separately from other products in the same order.
